Dear hunter / outside

Robotic Installation, 2009

Custom built robot from car parts, microcontroller, 2 monitors, chains. Dimensons variable

Wilderness, longing & feedback, pathos in chains.

A robot controlled by a microprocessor is crawling towards his own field of view. The attempts to move forward are so helpless and pathetic, that the chains attached to the floor act not as a tool of holding back a savage beast, but as a security mechanism which helps it to survive – if the “newborn” creature could move freely, it would soon cut of its umbilical cord of energy and optic nerve.
